The excuse used why astrobots wont work for vr is total bull sh..t

I sold my psvr 2 and miss this game ...Why cant sony charge me for a 50 dolllar adapter so i can use my quest 3 headset on the ps5

I almost sold my ps5 then i heard astro bot 2 was coming then inwas like fk, too bad no confirmation for psvr 2 ..that would have been epic

Well, Asobii is losing a sale here. No need to play a flat version of a game I loved in VR the 1st time.

Well..because we're not getting much on psvr2 I've bought a Meta quest 3..AND it's bloody brilliant..havnt played PSVR2 since as nothing interesting to buy yet as I've already got the best games from the PS shop..Had meta a month and already got 32 games .Just not that much support on playstation. MY manager tried it and was so impressed he bought one..oh and you can buy games without the need to play using Internet so u can play anywhere

Well, we all know it's a very lame apology fromt team asobi. I believe they just can't speak it out honestly. Sony Management ordered just a flat game and Asobi delvered a flat game. Sony is paying them and you can't talk too badly about the boss.

The thing is that when the majority of players are fighting against VR then those things happen! Its not sony's fault, its our fault!!! Of course asobi could bring it to VR as well but the money they will get from the VR players do not make the maths! Where is the problem imo? On the younger ages, they did born inside gaming and they are absolutely absolute! We aged in gaming and we want new experiences in gaming and we are open!

Team Asobii stated they had zero intention of making a PSVR2 game. They don’t care about our community, it’s time to stop caring about them. Let’s focus on games and devs that actually care to be part of PSVR2 community.

Paul why do you think so many games developers are steering away from psvr 2 when they openly support PCVR. For instance EA & F1 24. Why if they had already done the ground work with the vr development for this game then why not include vr on all platforms? Team Asobi & Sony's decision not to VR Astrobot is a real kick in the stones. Just out of interest how many first party Sony games have there been on PSVR 2 compared to the same time period on PSVR 1?

Astro Bot may not come to psvr2. This guy is an idiot or is lying to you, it is not harder to bring 3rd person to vr. This games looks just like Astro Bot rescue mission. That game was not first person it was a third person. This entire game could be playable like most other vr platforms, with a camera that puts you into the world. 3rd person vr is sweet, lil diorama action. Id pay big money for a diablo in vr or a bigger Pretta from psvr. I won't buy this until it gets PSVR support.

There's literally an Astrobot game in VR. Moss is also 3rd person in VR....

Sony has limited resources. We are living studios closures, layoffs and sony is supporting the place where the money is: ps5 flat games. Don’t expect psvr2 support from sony anymore. We are living hard times.

The reason Sony doesn't support it is simple: consumers don't buy it too much!

A real shame about Astrobot. Don’t really understand Sony’s reason . Their flagship VR headset and it gets ignored. I would imagine it would be one of the best selling PSVR2 games. 😢

No unfortunately not a free update. It's nice, but disappointed it's taken so long and only 1 new area, would have loved to have seen double the areas than it came with free, and any addons paid for, but feel this should have been free, so it's misleading it's accually an update, it's just a paid addon scenery. When they say update you expect improvements to the game or at least more free content, no updates at all.

But but but - can we buy the Kayak-VR binoculars DLC for that italian chick on the balcony!? 😂🎉😂🎉 "Ahoy! Ahoy! Bella wanna check out-oh my Kayak-oh!??"

I'm getting it. I want to support them and check it out but i think fishing is what gets me most excited. I want something to do where i can just rest my arms a bit more and interact with things a bit more and i think fishing hits just right. Not to mention we have a lack of fishing games in PSVR2, even in 1 to be honest. I hope they keep making things for this one, just wish they would manage more content quicker, given the amount of money they likely made being so high in the sale charts for PSVR2 games, you'd think they are well equipped to pump out more content more regularly, but i am happy they haven't given up on it at least. Given the hint they said on Twitter, its likely we will get Multiplayer next. They also mentioned they added a body to our character, instead of floating paddles on Twitter as well!

Any word on the multiplayer update? And yes this is a must buy!

Astounding looking game , shows how good vr can look. Will gladly hand over the 6.49 hopefully they give Japan or China a visit on the next dlc.
